Windows 7 problem

I have trouble - when I connect to the game (nvm local or net) I have freeze after 2-5min and I have to restart my laptop,I didn't have those troubles before, what should I do? couse I want to play:)

Save you'r cfg and reinstall quake. or delete q3config from baseq3 and try connect again.

u had the troubles befor what? changing from winxp to win7 or ?

When I install newest version of e+,on old one I didn't had any troubles

Is your pb ON or OFF? If it's ON, try disabling it and test it. Are you using licenced win7 or cracked one?

In win7:

right mouse button on quake3.exe -> properties -> compatability -> Win XP service pack 3 -> run as administrator

do the same for PB.

problem is not releated for win7 he said its working well in old e+ version.
delete excessiveplus folder reinstall new version.
first of all backup your cfg

The solve might be much simpler.

Arghali, do you have command \xp_drawconsole 0 ? If no, make it.

i do not changed anything with compatibility at my windows 7 64b and quake works correctly. pb also works correctly. i think it is something with his system and need format (its windows so once per week you need it ;d) or something wrong with hardware. how about other games (mods) based on quake or just other games?
