try these....but make a copy of your DoomConfig.cfg first Happy

set image_downSizeBump "1" enables next line
set image_downSizeBumpLimit "512" for 128mb card

set image_downSize "1" ""
set image_downSizeLimit "512" ""

seta image_cacheMegs “512”

.....these are bits i picked up aroud the net...cant remeber where.....but if you do a search, there is prob enough info to sort you out.....Happy

No Doom3 tweak hint but,
2 do some tweaking of the v-card in general, u also could give Nvhardpage a try.
Includes coolbits (+on/off option)...

Bättre pissa i stuprännan än stupa i pissrännan !

Here is an awesome tweek for us ATI card users. I did this and managed to sqeeze a few more framerates from my ATI Radeon 8500DV. Be careful when editing original files!! Back-up Back-up Back-up !!
