well, something about S. Tom ! i think he was banned some month ago.
and now some guys told me.
"lady spec him - he is using wallhack"! he isnt using a aimbot - but wallhack.

i told him on a server 2 connect 2 a EN server where PB is enabled ! with the command /connect 213.202.210.70:27850 so its much more easy 2 find out whats up.

i have no prob 2 say im sorry when i was wrong!
but look what happen:

u have no PB folder or ur PB isnt up2date - so PB will kick u to SPECTATOR mode but not from the server.
u get kickT for namestealing (2min) or unnamed playa (2min)

u only get permanently banned for using illegal things like AIMBOT or WALLHACK.

so check the screenie and tell me what u think about - cuz i think its time 2 ban S. TOM again !!!

maybe there is another reason 2 get permanently banned ?!?!?!
YES - then tell me plz !
NO - i will ban him soon !

a Global GUID ban is issued directly from PB's master ban list .....
and as far as i know u are listed there if u cheat or otherevise mess with pb and as HQ says if u have a KEy that have been posted in public.

Edit: hehe ..this might also be crap :pukeleft: ..can we have a pb guru in here

pb kick always for master baned keys iven when guid relax is set to 7

but u can conect with a "keykeykeykey" key for extample when guidrelax is set to 7, if is not u must have an orginal key to connect

im still think that the "key" is a problem here

I knew their were good mg players in E+ but I always thought somwthing was up with Tom. I can defend against most people but for some reason I had problems with him due to the fact he'd always mg kill me before I even knew where he was. I tried specing him but I didn't see anything wrong with him at the time.

Looks like he's had a problem with PB before and frankly we don't need idiots like that playing here. I agree with Tina, ban him. He was in the "Netherlands" server earlier.

Actually this does not prove he cheats or am i wrong?. It could be as HQ say that he has a bad cd key.

Actully there is 2 things PB can do when dectecting repeated Game Hooks or Hacks. One it can do a Hardware ban and 2 it can do a Global GUID ban meaning that any PB server will kick u its a global master ban list. Either way most of the time if not all of the time its the cause of something sneaky. Small amount of times a bad net connection can fool PB in to thinking it a hack.

BUT a "GLOBAL Punkbuster GUID Ban" is 100% not from a CDKEY violation CDKEY Violations just kick you no banning is involved, you have to hook the game or change the packet flow to get a ban.

I can understand the confusion ......
Eventhough Deex is 100% sure it's not CD-Key problem i'm still not 100% sure ...maybe 99% or 97% or whatever

And the big problem is the crappy documentation for punkbuster.
Im not a PB geek ..so I have to read the documentation and even on the PB site the pb_sv_guidrelax 7 setting is not explained.

But Deex might be right ..pb_sv_guidrelax controls pb's kicking behaviour and not ban.
