[Suggestion] Freeze Tag -> Regrouped bodies
Hi,
I would like to have this very interesting feature which is an extension to freeze gametype.
The idea is very simple :
- when a player is killed, instead of having frozen body staying on same place, it is teleported around enemy's base using team_CTF_redflag/team_CTF_blueflag
positons.
So, if a red player is dead, his body is placed next to team_CTF_blueflag
and if a blue player is dead, his body is placed next to team_CTF_redflag
Freeze Tag -> Regrouped bodies = yes/no;
(default no)
Knowing that there is already flags for all baseq3 maps with the ents files that I have provided here : http://www.excessiveplus.net/forums/thread/baseq3-ents-files , it is worth and easily addable feature.
Notes :
- if Freeze Tag -> Regrouped bodies = yes;
and there is no enemy flag for the dead player, his body stays on same place.
- if Freeze Tag -> Regrouped bodies = yes;
and there is more than 1 flag for enemy flag, his body body is moved randomly on one of the enemy flags.
- Just pay attention, that many dead bodies don't share same place around the flag. I propose to use such positions

5 is the flag's position
Bodies are placed around it from 1 to 9 and dead bodies spawn 64units upper the z origine of the flag. So that way u could have 9x2 safe positions where the body spaws and doesn't enter in conflict with other one making the player respawns automatically.
but that would be almost the same as CTF than...and would cause extreme camping in flag zones
agree with Johnny - it will only increase camping
i think, it can be used to simulate JailBreak ...somehow!
more options the better
That's it It's the idea behind it.
Again it's an option, depending on the cfg u have gameplay different. Don't think it will change anything for those who are stubborn to play same thing for years.
