Can somebody help me, please, with this issue! I reinstalled last night windows 7. I had before almost 3 years same windows 7, but all worked perfectly. I never before had problem with PB. Today when I entered on server which had PB, it kicked me with message "ignoring md5tool queries". What does that mean? I didn't reinstalled quake or anything (not at start, after I did with same one). Another problem was (which I didn't knew at start) that PB service deleted inside pbsetup this game (quake 3 arena) and than I fallowed Fate's instructions. But, on end, nothing changed. Still I get this message and PB when scan me (after 1-2 minutes on server) shot me out... I turned of Windows Firewall and I don't use any antivirus (never did). I really tryed to fix this problem with Epsi and rage, but it still sux and can;t be solved so easy. So if anyone know what it can be, please, tell me and I would be very thankful! Happy

ye, i already saw this, but this file don't exist anymore inside excessiveplus directory... Puzzled

If they are not in baseq3 do a search in E+ folder for these files and delete them all.

These files can be downloaded from servers in maps or pk files, so best thing to do is disable autodownload in q3 menu. If there is a map you dont have do a search on internet for the directory of q3 maps and get it that way.

I was kicked from 2sweet freeze for low explosions and didnt even know it was in my directory, so atuodl is definately OFF.

I think these files have recently been added by the guys at evenbalance(PB Guys) because loads of players have been recently kicked for them.

i bet it's the windows defender, click on arrow where is clock on windows bar, there is a green icon like a house, open it, it will show a program called windows security essentials, go on settings, deselect realtime virus protection and try if u got same bullshit again.

Error was caused by Microsoft Security Essentials. I tryed to fix this shit so hard, I searched on all forums to see if somebody in some game had similar problem related to this tool and. Then I found some explanation words which start on "esse.....", actually, I remembered that I installed this shit (Microsoft Security Essentials) last night when I installed fresh Windows, too. And I wanted to give to this problem last chance by deleting this "program". And then, I uninstalled it and backed to q3, server which has pure and PB enabled and guess what - IT WORKKKKKKKKKKK!!! I still will be quaker! Love you all (maybe not just few of you)! Kiss Big grin
