Im finally at the point where i am going to start my own server!
Yes ... full of excitment i was ... before i figured out it wasn't working ...
I made the server ... then i noticed that when i pressed escape ... the entire thing paused...
thats not normal ... this is multiplayer! So when it was paused i went and looked at spider on Excessive Plus.com
and ... my server wasn't there when it was paused ... and the entire server was paused..
AM i even running a server at this point?!?
IM confused here ... How am i supposed to make it so other people can join? I made it a pure server ... but no success ... im really sorry for so many posts, but im new to this stuff
and im really anxious to get my CLAN started!

But please ... anyone willing to help please do ... i need all the help i can get with this final step into my server .[/b]

afaik the server will pause unless there will be a real life player other than the host on it. I may be wrong, but i hosted some servers when i played with my friends and i was able to pause it until one of them joined it.

And how do i make it so people can join? my server doesnt seem to appear on Spider. ..
No'r can one of my friends find it ...
what do i do ?

you must choose 'dedicated ' , on the game menu.
so the server runs without you been on it.

set dedicated 2 or edit your server bat file and look or it ar there
so not writh +set dedicated 2
