i see youre preferences Lighting is Lightmap, I would place it on vertex, thats better.
Setup -> Systems -> Graphics -> Lighting

@Mona - Im not sure. SP2 pissed me off pretty much (causing problems with some applications plus the firewall sucked) - I uninstalled it hehe

about SP2, it is just sensefull to install it, when u reinstall (format) ur pc, if u put sp2, just over sp1, than u get alot of problems. this is my personal experience.

about that shots, ever tryd to reinstall Excessive Plus. (Save q3config, delete folder, install again...)?
