Hello, at the beginning I want to quote Ranking Administator from this old thread

So, the months passed, no decision were made. PunkBuster is still required for connecting to some servers and there's no single upload from authorities of e+ for this program and no words about proper instalation as well.

Maybe it's the time to get rid of this program [which is doesn't even support anylonger by Evenbalance team) since we got our own anticheat system? Or, at least, give some informations about getting working PB and instalation process.

? there are million topics on this, and it's been explained million times, wake up. anyway, my opinion is to change security system, i think there are many others more updated and recent, and, hopefully..less motherfuckers lol coz this pb is a pain in the ass, lags, problems etc..also full support, cheats updates and else. pb is the most famous one, but maybe there can be the possibility to get something newer,faster and better than it. and it would be about fuckin time! omg wake up kahzaaazr u sleeping Tongue

we cant afford to not use pb when we have no coder at hand.

Mastery:
Camping means you are not fast enough to attack.
Spamming means you are not good enough to predict.
Running means you are not good enough to fight.
Spawnfragging is an opportunity, not a way to win.
Shotgun means you are not precise enough to Rail.
BFGjumping means you are not fast enough to hunt.

Giving up means doing neither, training means doing what you are not capable of, trying to win means using everything you can.

Show me the official statement by e+ authorities, that's the point of this thread, there was none.

I'm not interested in looking for a PB that people uploaded, already checked Apollo's solution and Rayden pb folder. Both failed. So I got a lilttle bit frustrated and I made the thread.

Not to sounds like "Admins are stupid and assholes", just want to know what's the matter with PB nowadays.

pb support is down by evenbalance, however the master is up to further use the same version of pb since quite some time. Since we can't detect most cheats with e+ anticheat, we still have to use punkbuster to ensure fair play. This is not a official statement, but is just logical and therefor can't be ignored. If we do not use pb anymore we need to do our own check against more then 20 known cheats avaible anywhere on the net. We can't do that yet.
