1. pure is all about modified or aditional pk3 files, if u use some of these pk3 files u will be kicked couse of pure server that dont allow eny modyfications in textures or scripts

2. pure server moustly allow pk3 files that cointain only maps but if that file contain also scripts u will propably be kicked couse of that by pure server

please check attached pictures that shows orginal pure quake 3 copy

1. PunkBuster is a tool who scan yors hard drive and memory couse he is serching cheat programs, q3config.cfg iligal changes, modyfied files or specyfied files

2. to connect to PunkBuster protected server u must run yors windows as Administrator, if u run quake under restriced profile PunkBuster will kick u form the server

3. if u r trying connect to PunkBuster protected server and u were kicked couse of "GLOBAL BAN" u must change yors iligal cd-key couse it is on balck list, (im sadly consider) u can use for that cd-key generator, but meny of these keys will be baned globally, to moment when u hit right one, but u can also use for extample as a key "aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa" or similar like that, before u click on aply ensure q3 reconize it as valid

4. to UPDATE PunkBuster please folow this link download from there pbsetup.exe put in yors quake 3 directory and follow rest of instructions that u will find clicking on the link abvoue

I don't want to make a new thread about this question sooo:

I want to replace the rail sound with a different one. Almost same size and obviously same name. Will this keep me pure?

Feel free to delete this in a couple of days

ps: i could try it and see if i am or not but i am bored to do the work for nothing

Pure server check checksum not file size. I u need replace sound u have to create new pack cuz if u edit orginal pack u will be kicked from pure server. Ocf new pack wont work on pure server.

I have BIGGGG problem
I was kicked form servers for losing key packets
And i dont knoe why i cant be on pure servers (i dont changing pk3 files)

Problem z "Losing key packets". Polega on na tym, że podczas przesyłu danych z serwera do gracza, gubi się zbyt dużo pakietów i wyrzuca nas PunkBuster, aby zapobiec lagom, których nie będzie prawdopodobnie, czyli jest to błąd "panka"

Żeby nas nie wyrzucało wystarczy z procesów Windowsa zakończyć pnkbstrA i pnkbstrB. Aby to zrobić należy na klawiaturze wcisnąć kombinację trzech klawiszy: ctrl+alt+del(ete), lub jeśli to nie działa, kliknąć prawym przyciskiem myszy na pasku zadać i wybrać menadżer zadań. Później przechodzimy do zakładki procesy i odszukujemy te wyżej wymienione, zaznaczamy i dajemy zakończ proces i tak.

Działa to prawdopodobnie we wszystkich grach w których występuje PunkBuster.

Jeśli to nie pomoże to albo jakiś program obciąża łącze albo łącze jest za słabe.

Menu Start > Uruchom wpisujemy MSCONFIG klikamy na zakładkę usługi tam odnajdujemy procesy pnkbstrA, pnkbstrB i wyłączamy je bez ponownego uruchamiania komputera. RYSUNEK

Totalnie nic nie działa Marcus ...
Z proseców usenełem PnkbstrA i PnkbstrB , żaden program nie obciąża mi łaczą .. a łącza napewno nie mam wolnego bo mam 3MB , od windowsa to też nie za bardzo zależy , bo dla przykładu tehace ma tego samego windowsa z tej samej płytki co ja i jakoś mu wszystko działa ... możliwe jeszcze że może mam za słaby sprzęt w co wątpie ( ale jeśli mam specjalnie zmieniać sprzęt na wymogi PB to serdecznie pierdole tą giereke ) kombinowałem już naprawde wiele i ciężko widze swoją przyszłość w q3 .. przez jakieś pojebane w cholere PB

these proces should kep on not off they should be run atumaticly when pb loads with q3, so there u have few posibilites adding these proces to windows services and set them as auto or, run them as services with windows start, giving them full acces to data, atleats they running on mine pc and im dosent have problems with pb.

i and driv tried planty stuff withnout succes yet, if i will discover what causing the prob will write it down

driv is using an hardware router so we tested it on a deflaut usb modem and that dint helped at all, we reinstaled pr 1.32 upgraded to 1.32c, tried to update by pb_sv_update and pbweb and pbsetup, to this moment he had the same prob, propably we gona try set these proces as run with windows and lets see what gona hapen
