Its only ur choice. When u like fast or slow pad, textiles or plastic pad. Imo good pads for g5:

I write only this pad cuz i know g5 work in it.

Listen carefully 2 weeks ago i was on biggest computer event off whole benelux and i tested the g5 on almost every possible surface and i came to the conclusion that i bought the eye pad there it also rocks on steelpad qck+ and everglide titan but myself i bought the eye pad for the g5 and its a real good mousemat the choice is yours m8 i would go for eye pad or everglide titan Winking

Logitech released update for G5 drivers allready couse it didnt work on some surfaces well. So make sure you did upgrade.

I use steel qck+ in large size, works very good with it. I prefer slower surfaces but it still is fast on this material pad.

i used to play on mx1000 with out mat, now got copperhead and same no pad and for me its cool Happy
btw do anyone know how to switch off light in copperhead, it can be annoying sometimes

@van, driver also was relaset or only firmware(bios of mouse)?

@flex, after upgrading firmware i dont feel eny changes, my mouse still do lost pointing somtimes Sad
