Let's ask other how can be better in q3 ? Is it tactic of game or playing long time only ? Spec others and teach of them ? Or be faster on some places on map or train aim ?

I'd say "all of the above". Practice makes perfect. Spec people, watch demos, keep developing your Quake config, practice trick jumps, get that weapon switching right, and play play play on public servers. 1on1 is also an excellent way to improve tactical gameplay. Experience will get you where you want to be. The more you get used to doing certain things, the more your mind will be free for perfecting your skills in each discipline and learning new things.

And i forgot for 1 thing....It is thinking in game .... What a u doing in that sec, how change it to stay live....

Agreed. More important when ur a newbie is to spec, spec, spec experienced players and try to ask them for tactical tips. The cfg is also quite important to improve and u will need to learn a few basic stuff in the begining but dont waste your time making the perfect cfg cuz it will not give u the victory if u dont learn how to play. Winking

well you always think where the next enemy will come from, how you can evade, how you can surprise, if you can escape if theres more than 1 and your in trouble...

best thing to think of maybe is your surroundings, how you can use where you are to your advantage

Like parasight said,with experience and after u create your gamestyle + play all the maps through all gametypes million times u dont think what u have to do,it becomes a habit and your natural instinct Cool

to all was said above i would add an opinion, that the skill depends on a some talant also.
i cant know it well but it seems every player has his own limit and cant become much better then.

so, noobs who are improving can be better then somebody is good in future.
