I change my name in the cinfig.cfg to make it all falshy but when i open the game it dose nothing. When i enter a game the second i join the council said (could not write config.cfg) and it saids that like 4 times than gose away. I change my name in game but when i close quake and reopen it my name gose back to nomal.

u may create file name.cfg with one line like that

seta name "^x000023^xFF0000^f.^F.^f.^F.^s*"

then go q3 and type in console /exec name.cfg

and if u have error try to fix it )
what u mean "falshy"?

My guess would be that falshy = flashy...

Fade (^F ^f) and/or blink (^B ^b)

Correct me if I'm wrong.

Agree with nowings, 'external' cfg-file is to preffer since q3config.cfg have a tendensy of getting occationally resetted/overwritten of unknown reasons.
