hey dudes!

ive a hw-prob, hope someone can help me out with some advice:

well, one week ago my computer fucked up so i'm using a damn old amd k6-2 400 mhz machine. but quaking wont work well cos i have 8 fps average. that realy sux but i cant explain it 2 me.

but here my system-spec:
cpu: amd k6-2 @ 400 mhz
ram: 192 mb sd-ram
gfx-card: ati radeon 8500/also testet on voodoo 3
hdd: ide 40 gb
sound: creative sb awe 32

first i thougt i have a prob with the gfx-card wich could be a bit incompatible 2 the mainboard im using but after testing it on a voodoo 3 pci, i can say, its not the incompatibility of the gfx-hw
then i thought about an incompatibility of q3 engine with amd k6-2 processors but toms hardware guide gives benchmarks with this processor and q3.
and toms hw-guid says i should have 30 - 40 fps in full detail...

plz, if anyone has an idea whats going wrong, let me know!
