default weapon?

This is an issue for me cuz I use the scroll wheel to select my weapon. Can I change the weapon that I respawn with? I always respawn with the rocket launcher. I'd like it if there were no rockets on the excessive mod at all. (rocket spam = bad) I get fragged sometimes 5 or 6 times before I respawn in a quiet enough place to change to a different weapon.

It depends on server settings. Admin sets the default weapon, you can not. Try to look for some excessive+ "RailOnly" servers - use All-Seing-Eye or spider (you can find spider right below the picture at the top of this page).
