Big trick with graphics

man..
if the pictures you atteched is sample of PS and paint, then it is not the same, look cearfully and you'll see the little noisy thing around letters. That is not appreciated in computer graphics..

that's pretty much it, even though i don't know what it means Laughing
but i was certainly confused when i heard that u could make the size of a picture smaller without making the quality worse Thinking

jasne ze sie zmniejsza jakosc w kompresji na JPEG. Nawet najnizszy stopien kompresji JPEG powoduje bezstratna utrate jakosci. Stad np. przygotowujac bitmapy dla drukarni nie uzywa sie JPEG tylko tif ktory nie posiada zajwiska tzw. artefaktow typowego dla JPEG (artefakty to nazwa na takie wieksze kwadraty tego samego koloru powstale w skutek wspomnianej wyzej stratnej kompresji JPEG) a w zamian ma szereg zalet jak np. zdolnosc zapamietywania warstw, kanalow przezroczystosci czy sciezek odciecia Tongue
Inna sprawa jest fakt ze golym okiem strata ->moze<- nie byc widoczna, ale de facto obecna jest zawsze.
Ponadto photoshop akurat nie jest na pierwszym miejscu jesli chodzi o kompresje jpg. Chociaz osobiscie nie lubie pakietu Corela to wlasnie on zapewnia nieco mniejsze pliki, podobnie zreszta jak Adobe ImageReady.

Indeed, a compression in the size of an image without losing any of the quality is a complete change in the data the image consists of. The algorithm used to turn the data in an image file differs in so that the image file itself can consist of more space-efficient combinations of 1's and 0's if we want to be very basic. It's like some spoken languages can say the same thing as another language but in fewer words, because the language itself is more efficiently written.

Everyone already knew this, I just said it because this thread annoyed me >_<
