What is your setup like, starting from the internet. ie: my setup is like such

a cable modem connected to a linksys wrt54g router with the wireless side being a seprate network not routable to my internal wired network.

I can run my server on the internal wired network as something like 192.168.1.103.. then on my router I can add DNAT rules to allow incomming udp packets on my server port to push to the internal server with iptables.

if you have a broadband router working to share your internet connection. look through it's config menus for port forwarding or the like.

i had the same problem and had to use the net_ip function, i think thats the right one anyway, just use

set net_ip xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

in your server.cfg file

note: put your real ip address in where the xxx is Winking
