q3fan, that won't change anything. You could add a variable name cg_potato in there and it will stay there until you clean it yourself. This is some obituaries from previous settings.

What happens is that the engine will parse your configuration and simply won't understand the command. Having a well formed configuration doesn't mean Quake will understand the variable.

try xp_truerailshot 1, it will fix the described problem about inaccurate rail ingame.

Yes, really if xp_delagDemo 1 can see that I missed.

But during the game i see that shoot the target, just as you see when xp_delagDemo "0", not otherwise.

I feel that q3Fan is also misunderstood a lot of the times. He is spot on on a few issues. I could joke around and say he's on a round of crack today but he does make some points.
