I want my server 2 stop responding 2 the server masters, so it wont show up, and than respond again in 3 hours so it will show up. Will this do what I want?

this was here once time yet - no it wont work e+ master server is hardcoded in mod anyway

win32 version of quake supports net_restart
net_port port;net_restart
via rcon etc.. but anyway you will need restart server minimaly once per day

I dont get it? I cant change the port all the time, the person only has 2 ports open. Could i just do net_restart? Is there a way 2 just make it do something that will make it show up at the top of the list? Right know im using the Task Manager 2 make it shut off and turn back on every 6 hours, but I would like it if there was something that makes it show up without having 2 restart the server.

u just gotta add to ur crontab [port change every 120 min's]

u gotta edit the script :} it also has one flaw ... ppl playing on server during port change, will be kicked ....

thx Faith but 1 problem, I dont want people 2 be kicked, Cpuld u change it 2 switch threw 2 different ports and getinfo from the server every hour and if Clients = 0 change the port and than the next hour if Clients = 0 change back 2 the first port and it keeps going like that. The person who is running the server on his PC doesnt have all the ports open.

OR if u cant write me 1, can u tell me some good times 2 make it change ports, every 4 hours or somthing, I dont want any1 2 get kicked off it thats y i want it 2 get info and if clients = 0 change the port but i dont think any1 knows how 2 do that.
