Ok I have been away for a while now Im back and it seems things are a bit wrong on Euro servers. The point is that one cant switch weapon fast! I played on BRO TAG and X-nature server for some time it really sucked! Its almost rail only. Also when I tried to weapon combos my shot got blocked!! Not firing at all. Thats too damn annoying!

What did ya do?

I had ~120 ping on Euro server one mite think its about lag but its possibly not! On US servers like God Frag farm I can play comfortably as b4. With even 270 ping.

Also I wanna hear from you about your own 'not firing shots' experiences..

A little better when weapon switch is considered. I know your a big fan of anti-spammer club and even wtih your config weapon transitions are quite ok. Grenades are just ok, but plasma gun is entirely useless. Spreading affect of sg is also meaningless, considering when it is used..

The cfg I liked most so far was, despite all its weird aspects, Deex's insane, fast, awesome cfg! Now Im surprised almost all players/servers prefer a very monoton nearly rail only style. Thats not cool.

i agree with Unruly ... i have the same problems .. i dont want to start a "shitstorm" here im just not 100% happy with some euro servers .. well im a switcher like unruly and many other guys .. and the only good cfg's i found good are from freeze. I think admins or owners of servers have all the attention in freeze servers please guys Big grin make some fair cfg for guys like unruly and me .. u all guys know a lot of players dont play in ffa servers kouse that Happy ... if u want we kan share some configs commands like give u the time of gods and stuff so we kan make a good kick ass e+ cfg

Unruly, I think that was problem of connection Sad

I have the same problem sometimes (not often Happy ) at BRO and Ringzero servers. This shit can happens for low ping players also Cool

The high ping means that all packets from server reach the PC for long time. In your case the problem is that only little percent of packets reach PC, so that is different connection problem than high ping. You can try to change your q3 options to get better result
