The Community Admins Set a Poor Standard

Why are the majority of EX+ servers not Punk Busted? This excellent mod is being ruined by those that endorse video piracy because they cannot be bothered to buy a copy of Quake 3 or those that go on about non existent lag caused by Punk Buster.
If the community admins set the standard then the standard is very poor and can only be bad for the mod in the long run. Take away all the doubt and arguing, enable Punkbuster and set a decent community standard.

Non existing lag? I can asure you it does lag with pb on. even with the fastest connection and computer.

Hmz, well...
I'd like to c PB enabled on some servers too.
Tried it and it seems to work just fine.
Sure it might lag for starters... tops 1 minute or so...

Riot this has been talked over and over but some admins are afraid of loosing thier n00bs, I'm more afraid of loosing experienced users from other mods that come and leave as soon as they notice no pb is on an ... ah well endless crap, you can visit our 2 servers pb enabled, too bad you are in UK but some players connect from UK and they do well, hope to cu there, a good way to support PB is by entering only to servers with PB enabled.

I agree the pros far outway the cons. Community admins especially those that liase closely with the development team should be setting the right kind of standards in my opinion. Running servers without Punkbuster on is setting a very poor standard within the community.
Obviously not all will agree and there will be those that feel Punk Buster is not needed at all. I strongly disagree and feel more should be done to set a better standard, I suppose those that disagree feel that setting standards is not important? Such is the beauty of a democracy we are all entitled to our opinions
