HI, i have a problem to open a game or creating a server, when i go into quake than load my mod and exec my config than i write /map q3dm6 than ->(Please download the full mod on www.excess........)
i use excessiveplus 2.1
i have try to delete the rotation.cfg but it dont work to create a server....vm_game 2

on my windows server i can play without problems i will make a dedicated macserver...
please help me.

As I know e+ server part has:

qagamex86.dll - for windows

qagamei386.so and qagamex86_64.so - for linux

So u can't start ur server on MAC, I dunno maybe MAC can load linux executable files?

i downloaded the openarena to try and e+ for oa in the files was a readme:
"To start a MAC OS X or LINUX 64bit dedicated server use:screen A -m -d -S oa /game/oa/ctf/oa_ded.x86_64 +set fs_game excessiveplus +set fs_homepath "/game/oa/ctf" +set dedicated 2 +set vm_game 0 +set net_port 27960 +exec server.cfg"
i don´t know what this readme mean i cant understand it "wtf ? A -m -d -S "

screen is terminal console program (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GNU_Screen), in my opinion more usefull for remote servers. (So u can don't use it if u don't want)

A -m -d -S
 
 

This's parameters for screen.

I'm not specialist in Mac OS (cuz I haven't), but google says me what exist means to start linux console programs.

If u not friendly with console then use virtual machines for Mac OS and install Windows there.

Or search how to loading linux console programs in Mac OS.

just do not use screen for fist run

screen is a great program for only terminal(console) users

A -m -d -S <- are parameters for personalize screen (parameters are his flags)

i gues here must be smth like sh or ./game/oa/ctf/oa_ded.x86_64 +set fs_game excessiveplus +set
fs_homepath "/game/oa/ctf" +set dedicated 2 +set vm_game 0 +set net_port
27960 +exec server.cfg"

ofc edit it for your machine Winking

btw. original q3 was version for mac so why you wanna use oa ;>
