E+ friends and foes,

Despite everyone having a personal opinion on their server's CFG we should all agree that cheaters are not welcome in any server. Since )NWC( has enabled PB on our servers I have not had to kick a single person in over 2 months. Happy Sure there is a nice feeling you experience when kicking a cheat, but imagine not having to be en guard all the time. There were some people who tried to discourage me from enabling PB saying that it lags the server but this has not been the case for me. It will lag a player if you join immediately and then only for approxiamately 40 seconds.
In previous point releases PB was standard and I find it shocking that within this community it is shrugged off as a nuisance. If other clans want to run a non PB server thats their perogative, but I don't see why we can't work together to tighten the noose around these cheater's necks.
Any complaints against PB I invite on this thread. I believe there are alot of misconceptions regarding PB here in E+.

enabling of PB on all e+ servers will lead to a total isolation of this community. Noobs who connect and get kicked by PB, will not bother to find out what it is, they will just move on to the next server. But then again i might be wrong...

At least 95% of mr pants servers have PB enabled, that doesn't prevent the servers from being filled by n00bs, what really keeps n00bs away are users with bad attitude towards them not willing to guide them and offer some help, as well as cheaters, n00bs don't like to get their asses kicked by cheaters so they just leave.

I wonder why this comunity is so afraid of PB.

bycose somedays ago all servers were runing pb 1 and noone but old clan players play on it, that times comunity ben very tini, smalest that is curently, and we just need freshmens, that why pb on bro and mr servers alvay was disabled

i would prefer pb just for wars, even the guideproblem can be solved with pb guidrelax 7, so poeple with same guide or key can play on one server.

for public servers out of wars i will let pb off, i still tryed it one time with pb (since our server is a bit popular i thought i can try again), and pufzackboom, the server shrinked from 15/18 people to 3/18 people 5 min later, server was totally empty and get not refilled again this evening.

i see it on evol server, i see there just clanplayers, never nubs or something and without nubs u can forgett the mod and servers on middle near future.

sometimes, when i am unsure if somebody cheats or not, i just type pb_sv_enable and zack, server is empty, but i also catched the cheater and i turn pb off again (restart the gameserver) and server get refilled.

95 percent of pants server using pb, and 90 percent of them are NOT busy, very good stats man!

pb for wars or league, yes, but for public fun server no!

I'd love to see PB enabled on every server, but if it keeps kicking players, no way!

Tell me where are n00bs gonna play if all servers have pb enabled, sooner or l8r they'll have to search for help, but you rather dissable it just to have full servers, it seems absurd to me but we can't agree on everything.

As I said that's why i don't go to other severs, waching so many cheaters is sad and makes me angry.

cheaters dont come round mr servers much when im on patrol, or at least i will spot them or someone will get me soon enough

I agree with Mowly that PB should be enabled for CW's, otherwise PB should NOT be enabled if we want to keep this community together (Noobs). Recall back to when you first started playing this game, would you have really spent all that time trying to fix PB and solve all the problems that sometimes can exist with PB enabled? Or would you just say fuck it and throw the game back in the drawer because you only spent $10 bucks on it and it wasn't worth the hassle? I know that's what I would have done if I first started and had to deal with PB...

Trust me, I hate bots/cheaters but it's easy to ban them and allow the legit players to continue playing. Do some bots/cheaters get to play when theirs no admins around? Sure they do, but shit happens, they will eventually get caught and banned for life.

If we want this community to grow and expand then we have to allow noobs to play without the hassle of PB. Once they take the time to learn the game and realize that's theirs more to it than just the basic cfg and maps, then we can help them with PB.

Until then, PB should remain off until CW's in which I think it should be enabled.
