Hi can someboody help me i have highscreen ms15asII monitor and i didnt have any problems with it till now. It sometimes turns off when im starting to playq3 dunno why it wasnt a problem when it goes like this once a week but now i need to restart my cpu before almost evry q3 start thats annoys me even when i start in 800x600 i turns off dunno why this is anly a q3 problem but i dont know how to solve it i used to play at higher resolutions but now it is simply impossible there is no problem when i took 640x480 but i cant play like this pls write ure opinions about my problem

kan u use high resolutions on windows ?? if u put 800*600 in windows desktop what happend ?

it works properly no problems
problems acures only in q3 thats why i dont know what to do

is quake using a different monitor setting which your monitor cant handle?
try to figure out on which hertz you monitor works in windows and try to force quake in that setting to:
if windows is running 1024/768 and 85 hertz
maybe doing the same in quake will solve your problem:

seta r_mode "6"
seta r_displayrefresh 85
