Guys i dont want to have problems with this topic but im a bit concerned of admins kicking noobs and spammers and this is why:

The comunity is growing everyday i help like 5 peeps a week to install e+ full mod. Then they tell me that they got kicked from servers. And this is bad for e+ couse i play in many other mods and e+ is cataloged of noob mod couse that."...they dont let play with all weapons all they want is their needs" And i kind of agree with them couse IN WHAT OTHER MOD ADMINS FORCE YOU TO USE A CERTAIN WEAPON ? and is true dont get sad i know true is hard to accept but cmon guys chill a little. Go fake nick and spam a bit, go do some shutgun frags and some rocket map kover !!
If i got kicked from e+ when i was a noob (couse i was a shotgun spammer) i will never return here and many players wont be here kouse i help them build the full mod.

Please lets do some smart and progressive talk here so we can find a solution of this hard situation witch is stressing me kouse im a noob and i dont like brothers get kicked

1-If wasnt for all the people coming servers will be empty
2- Server empty = you dont play
3-If u dont let noobs be they will not get good skill
4-kmon guys enjoy q3 instead of stress out kouse a player prefers a certain weapon

In a lot of ways you are right...and as usual some noobs spoil it for the rest

wouldn't it be nice that you earn your rights to certain servers, like the levels in original Quake?

I mean a lot of servers have stats already, so it could be that after fragging 1000 in (for example) Deex Frag Orgy, you gort the rights to go to another step...tournament on ring0 would be the highest (for example)

...is this possible at all?

spider is 100% right and i will say more maybe i will be hated for this but i must say this coz i do care about e+ like all of u well i dont have problems with noobs spaming with shoot gun or any other weapons coz all weapons are allowed and noob using only sg is an easy victim i like killing em and if they play and see spaming gives no resaults they are trying to use other weapons and get more skills and if someboody kicks noobs only coz of using one or 2 weapons is a bigger noob than the spamer is

Every weapon available in server cfg is allowed to use. If someone want to play with bfg or machine gun only, so what its allowed. If admin dont want a specific weapon to be used just let remove this weapon from cfg.
Deze is right if noob will see that rail is most efficient weapon he with time will learn how to use it. But first games in mod are just pure fun of discovering sth new, so its natural for newcomer to use different weapons and check how they works.
Kicking player for using machinegun, like it happens on E5 cfg is just beyond my understaning.

I like the spammer...Well no but had this problem before on server with m-gun so lowwer the kill power...i dont bann or kick for spamming...but i like running server for noobs anyway,,,they play more for funn...but when i started i had got good on BFG because thats all i could get frags with,,,,and i juss i was a BFG spammer and no one bann or kicked me...Dont know how i would of felt being kick for being a noob spammer that was just learning

in a casual everyday match on any server..spamming is just a noob acting.and i dont kick for that.give noob a chance to learn the hard way.

I even heard PPle saying after one frag orgy ( owned by HQ , i think )spammers on spawn points sucks and should have been kicked from server , i dont agree. in an event like that when u have like 40 players on the same server u can expect that to happen.and it is to server admin to set spawnprotection , if he sees it will disturb the participants in the event.

i will also add , that i use rail 9 times out of ten , instead of other weapon in my game, if not more. i guess that makes me a spammer, dont u think?

Guys i just try to make some concience of FUN in quake 3 e+
couse things are going down. to many cheat topics and fights betwen gamers kouse diferent point of views.. once again guys .. Chill and have some fun Go spam go own go have some fun with many diferent types of players maybe u'l learn something new everyday
