Hello,

I'd like Punkbuster to be activated on the official servers. At the time I'm writing this, there's a bot on the server, I think it's always the same guy that keep evading bans. He is from the USA, I caught him cheating, now he starts spreading a (fake) rumor that is.. "Ruben cheats!".

Hopefully, most of the players know he lies Happy . This cheater, from the US of A, keeps coming and crashing the server. Why ain't PB on!!!?? Sad

Please, admins, do something about that! I'm really pissed off!

Making PB on, means also, getting an empty server. The problems about PB are well known, so, not needed to discuss here, just, the server will get empty, cause 90 percent of nubs are not interested to modify their quake so, that they can connect to a pb server without getting kicked or banned, they just wanna play, so they will visit the next best server and our server will stay empty cause that.

Sure, in the morning is the best time for cheaters on no PB server, because the most admins are on work or whatever, but i think, in evening, the servers are good protected and spectated by admins.

Sry, but i see no possibilty if easy don't wanna have empty servers.

2nd thing I'd like to talk about : Team switchers

[True Story]

I connect to the CTF server, map : q3ctf4. Teams are even, score : 0 - 0.

Red gets the 1st capture - 4 blue players switch to red.
I join the blue team, I make us win 4 - 1.

Players left in the red team : 3 (we were 12 on the server, 9 blues and 3 reds)

Lame !!! Can any of you guys make something to stop these lamers !?

If yes, it'd be kewl.

yeah that can be anoying but there is nothing that can be done really, you cant really kick people for that or ban them but maybe one or 2 kicks would learn them lol

Yep, i have to agree here. Switching teams, unequal joining etc. that can realy suck sometimes. I always try to make teams equal by rejoining other team when e.g. 3 noobs come and all join one team Big grin. They even don't read messages or seems that they even don't know that there are some teams lol. And it's often on the end of long match, when you fight for winning in setted teams, they come and all your effort before is wasted then. Winking

Is there something that would help?

I forgot what the exact command is, but there is a way of making sure the teams are balanced at all times. Here's the problem with that though (As I've learned from having servers in 1.30 before), sometimes teams are stacked, whether by mistake or not, and when you try to switch to "even" the teams, it won't let you because of the command not alllowing teams to be uneven.

While it would be nice to have even teams at all times, you won't get that when you have ctf1-4 on and noobs can play. But w/o those noobs, this game doesn't grow...

btw: What's up with someone named "d" and "blacksmith?" They've accused both myself and others that I know about botting, hacking, etc. An exact quote from "d" "Your a hack Dv8 because you use bfg and nades to move and you don't walk" Is this a well known noob and I guess blacksmith is someone special (so I was told), who is he?
