Crosshair Opaque?

Hi guys,
i got a fuckn problem with my eyes, they arent best anymore...so ive got problems to see my crosshair on bright maps Sad
Anyway, is there any possibility to make the crosshair more opaque? I use white color and it really would be great if you got a tip for me... Winking

Crosshair Opaque?

\xp_crosshaircolor 1-7 (put a number from 1-7)
1 is red...u can also try to play with r_gamma and r_mapoverbrightbits if u think your maps are 2 bright.

u also have to put \cg_crosshairhealth 0 or else the color wont change

thats what i allready know, hoped that there might exist another setting to make the crosshair real opaque and not as transparent as it is.

As far as I figured it out,the crosshair is least transparent and thickest on white color.

its also related to to OS gfx drivers

texture settings to "performance" make the crosshair more blury and less visible :} set to quality or high quallty ;d it will be good

btw. screen from ati tray tools

note:
watch out for the crosshair pack "pak9.pk3"
its a normal crosshair pack but there are different versions of it.
if you enter a server with pb with a different pak9.pk3 you will be kicked for a checksum mismatch.
