Cant connect with ASE

Help!!
does anyone know why i cannot connect with ASE evertime i try, q3 starts and then just crashes to the q3 blue server window and says the following...

[code:1]...getting DC: succeeded
...attempting to use stereo

does it work without ase?

Mastery:
Camping means you are not fast enough to attack.
Spamming means you are not good enough to predict.
Running means you are not good enough to fight.
Spawnfragging is an opportunity, not a way to win.
Shotgun means you are not precise enough to Rail.
BFGjumping means you are not fast enough to hunt.

Giving up means doing neither, training means doing what you are not capable of, trying to win means using everything you can.

use kquery, it rox, it finds servers, directly after they are started and its very customable.

http://www.kquery.com

u have just to finde once a server with the gametype u search and u can make a filter of it, just with few mousclicks, see attached pictures.

got this working within 1 minute of d/loading V, easy to use..

if i try to connect with kquery 4 e+ will donload pak2b.pk3 or pak0.pk3

can help me how i can disable it

in my cfg i have seta cl_allowDownload 0

playing on
[mouse]: ie 3.0
[mousepad]: corepad eyepad xxl
[keyboard]: Steelseries 6gv2
[headphones]: SteelSeries Siberia v2
[monitor]: Samsung Syncmaster 1000s 21"
