Cant connect on some server

Hi there. I have posted some weeks ago another forum topic where i wasnt able to connect on some servers. Problem didnt solve anyway after reinstall under windwos 7.

Another problem nowadays is that i can connect on freeze mania server when there is no password.
When i connect with password (its the right pw) i always get. "Invalid Game Folder" Problem.

Perhaps someone can help me with both, i think its the same, problem.

when this server is passworded it probably has pure enabled too, so it means that you got some additional/invalid or modified pk3's in your q3.

backup your config and reinstall the game and e+ mod. after that insert your old config and try to connect again.

Like camel and beazt said, when server is password protected it has pure on, sometime punkbuster is on, so probably some of your pk3 files are edited/modified, try to download other quake3 or buy original Tongue, backup tour cfg reinstall quake and you should be able to join next time.

I got q3. But i have windows7 running on my laptop. And im not able too install it. I just move all files on my laptop from the cd. Can the problem accure cause of that!?

I gonna try it the next das and gonna tell you if it work. Thx to all

Quake 3 dont need installation, i have windows 7 32 bit, and just unpacked game and play. Try to turn off User Account Control, maybe this can make problems, idk i have it always off.

So. Today i came home again. I Put my Quake 3 Arena cd in the laptop. Took all files from the cd to Desktop folder i called Quake3. I downloaded Excessive Plus Mod from front Page. I installed the Pointrelease 1.32.

And now i get this:

Server disconnected. Unpure
client detected. Invalid .PK3 files referenced

The problem accures at AIM+ or DOK or ... But its the same servers like the Problem before. Dunno whats now. I have nothing done - just what i was telling you above.
