ellow
after some days when i want to play some games, i get damn lag on every server (even on singleplayer xd).
i saw i get some fps drops down to 30 and packet loss up to 50, 60, 80, 90 percents.
dunno what's wrong.. i also tried to connect with default.cfg, its a little bit better but i still feel lag..
other games like Call of Duty 2 work perfectly, so i guess i don't have problems with graphic drivers, etc...

i didn't saw any useful topic for this problem, sry if i miss it and plz give me link to the solution (:

Yo iv got same problem year ago. I dont remembre how this virus name but...
I scan my PC 2 antyvirus and nothing help. ESET find this shit but can't deleted, and I don't know how soo i reinstall WINDOWS and it help XD

I have that lags on singleplayers aswell, if I play long enough the lags dissapear o.O

lol lass u always have lags, anyways , might be a sound prob , i had it too , mine droped like 4 fps , same as in HoN the same prob , but not so often , anyways i reninstalled the quake such as the audio driver and it worked well gl

So even when playing offline ?
1st thing u should do:
- backup your configs
- reinstall q3

fixed ?

Also i had simillar prob. with sound drivers too ^^ couple years ago, bought new sound card and everything was fine again.

i reinstalled and didn't help. i mean its better but still have drop/loss from time to time -_-"

I confirm, it is very good, however (full)scaning my 320 gb hard drive took over 48 hours

Dr.Web (curelt) + CCleaner + antyvirus (curently Avira) its all my protection. And Dr.Web+CCleaner I use once per few months. Dont know if it will help for dibe's problem.
