Hello This is to all Admin
I was wondering since I am Admin again I need to know how to unbann a player. I have never done it before because I have never had any need to. But it certainly would be good to know.
I hope you can help me.

in case of r0 YES :}
what i know there is no other way than manually edit ban file of server (e+ ban file)
so u must have access to this file thats all..

this is just possible if client is banned by ip like this

/rcon addip 0.0.0....

If the client is banned by

rcon ban client/guide/name

than u need to delete the ban out of the bans.txt, that u can just, if u have acces to the q3-directory of the server.

because if u make /rcon ban clientnumber, than u ban also the guide and name with that

tnx Mowly and Nihil , Nice and detailed explanation...

But why, When u ban With /rcon ban Client number ,(as u said it is supposed to ban IP , nick and GUID,But still I have pple like Poland connecting back indefenitly with the same nick? ( Dynamic IP).

mmmh, he dont reconnnect on my servers

watch if all bans have a all correct {}, that was a prob what i had, when all banned reconnectet, lol

i copied bans from others in my bans.cfg, but one } wasnt copied with it, and it disturbed whole bans.txt
